Санту Марію дель Мар я просто мусила побачити після того, як прочитала книжку Ідельфонсо Фальконеса (і ще раз повторюся, вона прекрасна). Саму ж церкву будували дуже довго з 1329 по 1383, і звели її на кошти і силами простих людей. Всі ці кам"яні брили на своїх плечах принесли бастаішос (bastaixos, виправ мене, - гільдія носильників у середньовічній Барселоні, і саме їх зображено на дверях головного входу. І побачити ті самі вікна з вітражами, які за задумом архітектора мали бути головною прикрасою, ту саму статую Марії, про яку я стільки читала було дуже... дуже, коротше кажучи :) Полювання на міста триває.
